Join us as we showcase our work to create a more diverse, resilient, and healthy Park ecosystem. Visit 7 topical panels throughout the Park. Talk with experts about topics such as birds, bees, butterflies, fungi and oysters.
Don't miss our Earth Day themed children's arts and crafts activities and interactive puppet show.

Our spectacular assortment of annual plants is from Beds and Borders, Long Island's premier nursery. Their annuals are used extensively in some of the most renowned gardens in our area.
Come early — we sell out quickly.

Harvest Festival

Carl Schurz Park's annual Harvest Fest packs a punch with plenty of exciting fall activities for the whole family.
Visit the pumpkin patch on Gracie Oval at East End Avenue and East 88th Street. Pick your own pumpkin and decorate it. While supplies last.
Enjoy arts and crafts, tattoos, and take a stroll through the Spooky Trail.
Don't miss a family concert in the playground with Patrick and the Rock-a-Silly Band.

Halloween Howl & Healthy Hound Fair

A cherished, family tradition: join the community in lighting our dazzling holiday tree while listening to carols sung by professional choir Cantori New York (www.cantorinewyork.com). Carolers are accompanied by our favorite armed forces brassed band, New York Brass Quintet.
Free hot chocolate, cookies and candy canes, ... and an evening your family will cherish for years to come.
